Okay so a lot of things have changed in the last 2 days. On Thursday and Friday I came in during my study hall and art class, respectively, and decided to black out everything. After doing so I added colorful drips everywhere and then wiped in of much like I did in the beginning of this piece. I then added green before wiping that off, each layer adding a new cool stain. I then impressed this grated drawer liner I brought from home creating a slight indentation. I then painted it black again before scratching into that layer. After doing that I realized that the area outside of three dimensional part looked very empty. So I took some heavy gel medium and mixed it with the colors I had dripped I then mixed that and applied it on and around the tape I had laid down using heavy a big clumpy brush strokes to get the texture at the top of the painting. All in all I really like it!

Nothing has been changed since the last post (Feb. 15)... You finished the painting so need to make a final post, which I mentioned in my last comment (March 1)! Revisions were due March 8th.

Genisus.... people have to sign up/log in to comment?!... this could be problematic.... Beyond that, nice process posts! I enjoyed reading through your thought/work process. Make efforts to take better pictures! They do not need to be perfect for these posts but there is no reason that you can't take a photo straight on and eliminate the excess background (floor, tables, stools!!!!). We want to see your painting, not the background! Make sure to post a FINAL image.
